85. Real, Unreal and Neither.


These are more words in the readings of nonduality messages.
There is only reality in a sense that we are used to. We say virtual reality, Real image, Real mirage etc etc. So in that sense unreality is non-existence in any perceivable form and hence not subjected to discussion.
However reality has another aspect to it that it must be real, irrespective of the perceiver or one's perception or sensing of it. Since the world doesnt exist without you, it cannot come under the head of reality, as the word is meant to mean. So, our reality is bogus, or with a flaw. What we think as real is actually unreal and since, seeming reality cannot be classified as unreal in a real sense, it should only be ‘neither’. All that was seemingly real, and is being now taught to be actually unreal, which by the meaning of the word, is meaningless, it now gets classified as neither. So, can it be possible that all three attributes, the real, the unreal and neither, be true, simultaneously? Could such be the power of reality or truth?
What is the message here and what could there be an analysis that can lead to a true understanding of all this or of the real seeming world and real meaning of what we are?
Reality that we speak of, is meant to be, as that of the world. Normally, we think that the world outside of us is real and cannot doubt that such reality can be disputed. What is actually happening here is more that, we think, we also- as this individual entity, is real and do not want this to be disputed at any cost. To justify this ‘want’ of ourself being real, we use the reality of the world as a scapegoat or supporting alibi.
What is real issue here? Why this argument about reality or otherwise? Can paradoxes be true?.
We think that we are an individual separate entity and that there is a world out there, separate and outside of such an entity called ‘me’ and this gives rise to a subjective me and an objective world. This statement is taken to be true or forms the basis of the belief in a world of objects, and provides reality to the world of fiction. It also provides the basis, that if the world out there is real, then this me that knows the real world is therefore real too. Such belief is the cause of all effort, which seems to be happening to such believed subject, trying to manipulate the outside world, to maintain his reality and that too in happiness. The effort of seeking to be happy, never ends and when such seeking bears fruit, seeking jumps to more seeking that can still be sought and maintains the illusory seeker unto death as a ‘me’ sense having an effort in all activities being owned as ‘his’.
So what is the truth, or reality of ‘me’ and the world?, the Real or unreal or neither or all?
Lets us start with what seems real. What seems real is that there is a ‘me’ out here and a world out there, that is separate from ‘me’. The reality of the world is as real as the reality of ‘me’. Can the world exist without me – is an unanswered question accept that it is believed by others that it should be so, after your so called non existence or death. Also, can I exist without the world is another question that should not be raised in such analysis, if the question should be answered in affirmative.
There if no difference between a objective world and an objective ‘me’. So what or who is the subject to which such an inclusive world (of me) is objective to?  If all contents of ‘knowing’ is objective reality, then, ‘me’, as this body-mind, that I think I am, is also a case which is objective to the knowing, as any other reality of the world. So if all reality is objective, including an assumed me, that was previously seeming subjective, but is already seen to be as objective as rest of the world, then, where is the subject, or that which knows all such objective reality?
What does ‘real’ mean? Can it exist separately outside its knower? Does the collapse of its knower, collapse its objects too, does the existence of objective reality always depend on the existence of a subjective knower?, if so what knows such formula of existence that has a subject and the world inclusive of me as objective to that subject. Is there more than one subject to know the other subjects?
This questioning can to eternity, without an answer because the basis of the question lacks reality. Objective world includes this ‘me’ as an object and so, this ‘me’ as a subject as its basis is at fault or ‘unreal’ –meaning- meaningless. When such a ‘me’ is meaningless as subject, the basis on which the world is objective to such a ‘me’ is also unreal or meaningless. The only meaning that can absorb all this meaningless reality is that, subject-object pattern of the world doesn’t exist as real. Or that such assumption as its base is unreal. So reality as assumed is meaningless, or there is no objective world and no objective me, as real. Unreal, being only to mean – meaningless would then be its reality in terms of existing separate from each other. So the world is not real. Unreality cannot be. So the world being unreal also has no meaning.  So the world is neither real nor unreal and hence neither.
So what is for real? The ‘feel’ in the knowing to a particular arising in consciousness makes feel a sense of reality to its contents, by making a ‘feel’ of the contents, as if apart from itself as the context called ‘knowing’. The Kitchen seems real apart from the contents of the kitchen the bedroom seems real apart from the contents of that room. However, removal of the contents is the removal of the context and so the contents and its context are seemingly or apparently split as two but in actuality are one and the same.
So when the feel of a snake is felt as real, it comes with an additional experience of a ‘fear’ as an experience of its presence to seal its feel of such reality. However the feel by itself has nothing to do with the snake, because when the snake is seen in an anticipated place like a snake zoo, this fear sensation is felt as a thrill. So apparent visual knowing, clubbed by apparent feel of reality, keeps the object called ‘me sense’ as a subject by a mere feel, appearing to a subjective knowing. The feel of objective knowing as ‘real’ is an experience that goes down memory lane and maintains a story line of all that seems to be objective to a subjective apparent ‘me. Such memory that maintains a story, excluding a ‘me’ to the outside world is responsible for all the ‘me’ sense and also the ‘feel’ of reality to an outside world. In the absence of a story line, the me and the world loses separate reality and independent existence as subject and object drops away. This also exhibits the emptiness of anything objective to the world. The world then appears or ‘feels’ as a dream and then such ‘feeling’ then seems real, but by now not to anybody, as all such bodies become part and parcel of the objective dream.
So reality is just a feeling and can drop away. When such drop happens, the ‘me’ sense and the you sense and the ‘other’ sense, being all parts of original assumed reality, fall away too.
Unreal is not an opposite of real, but just a way to explain the meaninglessness of an assumed reality. Outside of the feel in the knowing, there isn’t anything happening to be real, unreal or otherwise. So reality as independent entity or objective world is just another arising in consciousness to bring about a real objective world as if real. All is just the feeling of it and not It.

84. Formless and Infinite


Dwelling into Nonduality for a few days or years, one gets to hear these words more often. New ideas, like spirit, arise as concepts for formless and ‘too big to be comprehended’ for the Infinite. But in the game of getting to know nonduality as a concept, these words are to be taken to mean only as their basic meanings taught in school and both will then appear to mean the same, which actually they are meant to be, as pointers of Truth or Reality.
A concept of form is not exactly like only to mean ‘a shape’. Form includes the shapeless or with no-shape ideas too. Thought, emotions, feelings etc are examples of forms that seem to be formless, but not in the actual sense, as formless is used to mean to understand ‘Reality’.
How about ‘no concept’ of form at all, as what is meant by formless. Think of all forms or objects arising in consciousness as forms, that includes pain, love, emotions, visual objects, sounds, tastes etc etc. These are all ‘concepts’ of forms. Absence of these forms, may bring new meanings as their opposites, like tasteless, painless, etc etc. So one can consider ‘presence and absence’ of objects in consciousness as akin to ‘form’ and hence formless would mean a kind of double absence of both presence and absence of any ‘mode’ of forms that ever can be imagined.
Try the same with finiteness. Finiteness can be in space or time. So all visual objects may have finite shapes and all audible, emotional, thoughtful forms may have a beginning and ending of such objective knowing and can be called finite. When not applying finite rules to any experience in consciousness, what is left out is what is a non-experience or what cannot be known objectively. Such unknown objectivity which cannot be any mental concept, is what can be called ‘Infinite’.
So formless and infinite are conceptless concepts and are just pointers to a plain and simple ‘nothing’ as absence of all forms, being present or absent.  This is the ground of our being, which has the power to bring about knowing of all objectivity, either directly as perceived  or indirectly as imagined, both of which can only be experienced in the ‘present’. Such a power of ‘Presentness’ called ‘Presence’ or a feel of aliveness that can give life to all forms and emotions and is a pointer to what Reality is ‘as ‘ us.
There is another way to conceptualise the incomprehendable.  One is to deeply understand what ‘knowing’ is. Knowing is an activity of Life. What if ‘Life’ was ONLY knowing and Knowing was all there is. Assume all visual objects were only a Visual Knowing and sounds were audible knowing and sensations were only the knowing of it and taste was a only a taste knowing etc. That leaves ONLY knowing, split up into different types of knowings, but basically only ONE knowing ability ‘Life” is. Now what if the ‘being’ of all objects like shapes and sounds and thoughts etc. were only the knowing of being and there was ‘no’ objective being, other than its knowing. This means the being of all there is -is only of its knowing, being so, and there was no ‘being’ separate from the knowing of it. This sentence is little tricky, but important. Getting this understanding is all there is to know. It means that all taste is only the knowing of it and there is no taste outside of its knowing so. So there is no objects ever, apart from the knowing that feels like an ‘objective knowing’ like sound or shape. This means, a ‘mere’ knowing is split as if, to have a knowing to a knower and an object of knowing apart from mere knowing to such a knower or an apparent subject. So the knowing has to form two apparent objective parts, seemingly outside of it, both as objects of its knowing, making  one such object as subject and other as object, while both such a subject and object are just apparent split of pure knowing, which is all there is, to no-one, as ‘we’ or to a formless or to an Infinite Knowing capacity only. It means Knowing is all there is, as the knower, knowing and the known -and there is no subject or an object, outside of knowing or apart from being such only in the ‘feel’ of such knowing. All objectivity is inside of knowing and such knowing plays a split as ‘apparent objective part of knowing to apparent subject and the rest of such apparent objective part as its apparent objects. This trick manages to maintain subjective feel of being real to such apparent  subjects and the feel is not allowed to be shaken off, unless knowing itself decides to play it so. Once such a subjective feeling of realness sets into oneself ( apparent) the rest feels apparently real in its objectness.
So reality of subjects and objects as being, is only the ‘knowing’ of it and not apart as objects that are known to a knower. The knower and the known are just objects in the knowing being played out apparently so. The ‘real’ reality is thus pure ‘knowing’ or aliveness itself, as SELF,  that brings about a ‘feel’ to an object of knowing as its subject making the rest as objective to the first object. creating a ‘magic’ called objective creation to such a subject.
So nothing to do, or not do, since all such activities, are a mere knowing of them being so and there is no-one outside of Knowing or Formless or Infinite or Reality ever to work in the direct of doing or not doing. So, who you thik you are, objectively is apparent only, and absolutely free as such, as you are just ‘not’.

83. Knowing is ‘what is’.



'Knowing' of content does not necessarily imply 'contents' to knowing, as separately existing apart from the knowing of it. Even if there is one chance, that can reveal that all objects in the knowing  (or known content) is simply the knowing of it, rather than the known, as a separate content, the truth about the 'game of objects' as an independent reality, is out of the bag. The importance of this detail, is the only fundamental thing that needs to be recognised in life. For example, knowing of a thought ( or thinking) is all there is, and there is no thought, outside of such knowing, where knowing of the thought, 'is' the thought. Similarly, knowing of pain is pain,  knowing of the world is the world, etc., meaning the objective world is simply a knowing. Visual knowing, audible knowing, knowing knowing knowing, as if such knowing has known sensations that can be imagined to make up a world of objects.

It means a lot in terms of ‘seeking’. We seek to know the truth of what we are and spend a lifetime until seeking finally stops to end the seeker in the track of seeking. Finally what is noticed is that, Knowing is ‘what is’ and 'what was' and 'what will be' and there is the only this ‘isness’ of what we think is the 'world' or 'ourselves' as separate from each other.

Awareness 'as' context is all there is but feels as if Awareness 'as' content. Even that is to say too much. Awareness is all there is. Content as separate from Awareness, is only an idea imagined to be true but not. That is the illusion or Maya, that makes feel awareness of separate contents 'in' awareness, simply by the 'aware-ing' of it. It is then taken as awareness 'of' contents, which are being assumed real and solid, separate from 'only' being aware of them. This is further interpreted as 'contents' in awareness and believed to be true and such mental conditioning becomes the basis of living as separate 'beings'.

So Awareness or ‘knowing’ is ‘what is’ and this ‘isness’ is what knowing itself is, that is eternal or not subject to time. There is nothing outside of knowing to know and so all ‘that is known’ is nothing but the ‘knowing’ of it, and it just ‘is’, not to a ‘me’ or to another, to know the knowing, as if to sentient beings.

What we are, is the capacity to know, or what 'knowing' itself is and this ‘we’ that we think we are, as separate individual entities, is some illusory knowing. Knowing cannot know itself as its content, or as known, as the activity, cannot be made an object of itself. Meaning to say, a context can be described with contents, but when the context and contents are one and the same, and cannot be separated to be judged individually and equated, context is only what is, or give it another name, contents is only what is.

A dream is just its knowing of it. There isn’t a dreamer dreaming a dream. There is just dreaming. Now dreaming is the dreamer and the story of the dream is its contents. Likewise, knower is the knowing  and also the contents of knowing as the known. To make ‘sense’ of it, one must take a place outside of it, to know it and so, it cant be it, because, It includes it. Knowing has this typical capacity of being wholeness and its contents at the same time like context being the contents. There is no other, either as knower or as known that can be said to be outside of knowing.

Presence is another word. ‘What is’ is same as to mean, what presently is. To be ‘is’, is to be present and to be present is to know it. The issue here is that, we lay stress on the contents of knowing as if there is a ‘known’ aspect to it. To do this, knowing has to objectified or given meaning to. So what is- becomes what is happening, as if the happening is a meaningful way to know what is. Happening is only an assumption of what is and any reality that is given to any objective apparent happening, is only a story line being fed to make ‘feeling’ into ‘felt. So what is, has to be ‘interpreted’ into into contents, as if separate and meaningful, outside of what is, and a story line, as if eventful, in time and space, must be built up. Such magic is the power of intelligence to convert 'what is' into 'what is happening in time, as an event'. The happening can thus have backward projection as past or memory and forward projection as imagination or plan etc and the process of breaking up what is into apparent independent parts take shape. Reality thus comes in as apparent feel of such story line and experienced as time and events in time.

The 'feel' of 'now' or looks of 'now' keep changing continually. Each content changes shape and place, as if to make feel  'movement' or 'growth'. This develops into a story line of such change, with likes and dislikes to colour the story. The story becomes the truth in imagination, and a part of such a story is referencing a 'me' story to this body.

However, all there is, is what is or pure knowing and not what is ‘happening’ as nothing ever is happening. Truth simply Is and expresses itself as an isness of what is logically happening, as if logic comes alive with cause and effect as its theme causing ‘what is’ or knowing into what is ‘happening’.

So not to worry about 'Life' as nothing is happening, other than just a knowing of it, like a happening, happening in the dream. Relax and be free.

82. Life and You.


There is a peculiar relation between ‘life’ and ‘us’. A virtual relation that gets stronger and stronger by the day and only a miracle could pierce the virtuality to get a peek into reality. In fact all relations are like that. It starts with a binding like a thin hook and then gets more and more stronger like a ship’s anchor  and then makes reality of the  ‘you’ that seems to become the role played by ‘life’ as you. It gets impossible to ‘come out’ of this ‘becoming’ called ‘me’.
What is life. We know life as we are taught about it or in a context that we use it. If we take a broader context in viewing life, we can call ‘life’ as all that would be called ‘creation’ and its movement, moment by moment or simply the play of ‘life’. First the creation- like a flame and then its movement like a how the flame moves or a ‘dance’. The source of such a creation that ‘IS’ and moves is ‘life’. It is like the source of the flame. Call it ‘fire’ if you like. Fire is not only the source but also the appearance of the flame and has its own way of creating some sort of negative pressure within it, that allows out side air to be sucked in it, helping it to keep burning upwards and also to dance in its existence. However all of it is ‘fire’ and its play. All one source and appearance. Likewise, is ‘life energy’, Its also the appearance and also the movement. Nothing else need be. Appears because of its to be perceived, creates its own forces that keeps giving a change to cause its own dance that we ‘feel’ is its aliveness. THIS INCLUDES A ‘YOU’ IN ‘IT’. So in relation to life, ‘you’ are inclusive in it and are ‘of’ it.
Now we go about trying to relate to such ‘life’ from a place of this individual ‘me’, to get enlightened and to become that ‘life’ that we are told we actually are. Its easy at the level of understanding that we are not what we think we are but what ‘we are’ is life. Its difficult in the beginning, even to think so,  but when pondering or seeking day in and day out, that this ‘we’ is lived and the ‘what’, ‘this we’ must be, is life itself, we come to the end of the road or a place where we desperately want to let go the feel of an individual me and have the feel of ‘life’ as ‘me’. Then we don’t know whether we will be able to feel ‘me’ as life or feel the ‘whole life’ as me. This game goes on for a while, whilst  we are desperately trying to come out of the cocoon of ‘me’ into the butterfly as ‘life’. This  ‘trying’ to project ‘a me’ as not an individual self is also ‘life’ playing a limited ‘me’ trying to wear itself off as an individual. But the ‘trying’ itself maintains the ‘me’ while trying is happening, limiting this me as a try-er. The individual effort is what keeps the ‘scheme’ of ‘me’ alive. This mechanism of trying is what keeps the separation going on and on. Trying to reach what you desire is the name of the game of the individuality. Not trying is a also another way to keeping  the ‘trial’ alive or to do the ‘not trying’ and so has the same effect.
Life as you and you as life are both the same movement. As long as you make a personal effort, life becomes personal. As long as you feel personal, it is ‘life’ behaving as a personal you. ‘You’ cant feel impersonal, because there is a ‘you’ or a personal ‘you’ trying  ‘to do’ this feeling out of choice or free will. Letting go the ‘you’ or personality is already ‘life’ in its natural state. Once this is seen, the strength to hold on a ‘position’ as a person becomes weaker and weaker. As long there is a will to let go, the will itself becomes weaker which brings about the ‘letting go’ of the ego or the personal self or the ‘sense of me’.
All along we understand that it is ‘life’ projecting the ‘me’ in ‘itself’ as its content . Now this ‘me’ wants ‘me’ to somehow project ‘me’ as ‘life’. As if I can be something very big as life itself. So we try to be humble, broadminded, accommodating, saying ‘yes’ to ‘all that is’ etc etc, just we think ‘life’ should be. It is not possible for a ‘me’ to behave ‘life’ like. The absence of ‘me’ is ‘life’ already, including and excluding ‘a like’ to make it ‘life-like’. Its just that, one fine day, ‘you’ wont be there, feeling very light, not knowing, where  and how that part ‘you’ got out of ‘YOU’ or ‘all that there is’. It just gets left behind like a lizards tails, in total unawareness.
At the peak of seeking, with trust and faith that individual persons never really existed the way, ‘we’ normally saw and felt the personality in ourselves and others, the nature or heaviness of individuality begins to get lighter and lighter until there isn’t a ‘you’ to know that a ‘you’ that was, is now ‘not’. You wont know when it happened, because when it happens, the you that is supposed to always be in charge of all knowing that was, itself is gone missing. Its like a stick churning the burning coal wanting to know, when it will actually ‘stop’ churning. The stick already became the fire, with no separation left. So there comes a time when suddenly, there is no judgement, as if there is ‘no one’ left to judge, or judgement itself is ever happening or not. Then what is left is ‘life’ or simply the ‘play of life’ of simply ‘play’ or simply THIS.
So hang on, until there is no-one to hang on, and feel the funniness of ordinariness of how ‘life’ always was, and was ignorantly believed to be much the other way, being personal, because in its play, being personal is what kept running the show of this ‘is-ness’ becoming  ‘separate me’ and the ‘outside world’. No need to continue being part of the play from then on, because the play was always played, by not a you or anyone, but by no-one at all and will continue to play ‘you’ ‘as’ personal at times ‘just this’ other times, as the play demands from time to time, which was always what it did, but now, there is a knowing of it, from the side that ‘life’ wanted itself to ne known, and that too –‘effortlessly’, as knowing was always known to be.

81. Time and Now.


Now seems to be an element of time. But that is a belief, because ‘Time’ as something in existence in itself is a belief.  All beliefs are valid because of a faith in the belief that is beyond being shaken up and also the ‘basis’ of individual lives or apparent persons ‘is’ simply this set of beliefs.
‘We’ as separate persons are hooked up to beliefs and this set of beliefs is passed on to generations to come, which is what keeps the fiction of ‘reality’ alive or ‘lively’.
There seems to a secret here that can be unlocked, as if it is possible to come out of beliefs and see the world for its true nature. However, the true nature of creation includes persons having beliefs and seeing the world through a veil of such beliefs. It’s more like apparent people are ‘lived’ with a common agreement of living with beliefs of time and space and names for forms etc which makes the working of creation an open secret, that can be seen for its exact nature, but can’t be known on a relative level of individual person and must be lived from a point of believing that relative reality is absolute reality.
The ever changing contents ‘is’ what is noticed in the ‘knowing’ that ‘we are’,  and the ever ‘constant’  capacity of this knowing is what doesn’t form the content to be known, and keeps getting missed out, as what can be known, being the obvious and taken for granted, as if not. This is purely due to ‘life’ living its contents in that way and will continue to be perceived as it is meant to be, in the game that life plays itself out.
 The term ‘Now’ has a very important role to play in our lives. Life ‘is’ this  ‘Now’ ‘being’ witness as a present time element and also ‘being’ the contents as what is perceived as the world, to its own knowing capacity.  There is actually only ‘knowing’ of perception and such knowing is this ‘Now’ knowing it so.
The term ‘now’ has many contexts in which it can be used and the meanings that seem to appear when used in such circumstances, makes it seem appropriate to complete the communication, as if the understanding about the context in which it was used, was very normal and appropriate to indicate reality of ‘time’. But most of the time, it is used to make a sense of ‘Isness’ as if the content ‘is present’ as of now and for real.
It is interesting that, we often use this term ‘Now’ or the ‘present’ as if somehow it is linked with all that is not now, or the so called past or future to make ‘time’ possible. In fact the absence of contents in the ‘now’, is imagined to be really ‘available’ ‘in’ the past or future, to make them exist that way. Such a method of perception is purely creating a mental existence of objects, from the past to the future. So we push all ‘physical’ or ‘Presently’ non existence contents category of  imaginary and real mental contents of the past and future, in order to give continuity to the contents of the ‘present’ in both directions of time. Therefore all continuity must be purely ‘mental.
What is the real issue here?. Can ‘now’ or physical reality ( as may call it) be really clubbed to make a continuum  with past and future that is more on a mental level? However, the world seems to work well this way, as we all play this game in a trance. How real is physical reality?. How real is mental reality? How real is this imagined reality anyway?. These are unanswered questions due to paradoxical answers that seem to make sense in both ways, when argued in that sense.
Whatever is ‘featured’ in creation is seen or known in the ‘now’.  In fact, it is ‘now’ that is the actual cognisor of featured creation, that we feel as ‘present now’. What is absent, is not there. It is either ‘was there’ or will be there. Meaning, we make it present at some other point in time and such point in time is only revisted via the mind, or mentally, to make time real or bring time into existence. Even when we talk, we must bring time in words that depict time, which itself is the basis to create time, as there isn’t one to go back or forward as past or future. I will go there ‘tomorrow’ is an example.
Suppose I take a set of cards and show it to child. Now suppose I take away some of them and keep it behind my back and tell the child that it has disappeared, it is very much impressed. In fact it is wonderstruck. It doesn’t make a difference to the child, if the cards actually went out of existence, because its has believed this to be true. Now if we tell the child, that all the cards were behind the back, then all the wonder is gone away. Similarly, all contents of ‘Now’ ‘that’ disappear, are mentally allowed to continue, so as to assimilate with a new set of contents are featured ‘in the now’.  Once the apparent reality is embedded in memory or imagination, the mind has the speed and capacity to revisit this apparent reality, and make logical a story of all the is present and absent, but mentally present. The contents of yesterday and day before and all the past for millions of apparent years, is actually memory, lying behind the back of ‘now’, now. Physical presence of perception, mental presence of the perceived and imagined presence of would be perceived are all happening ‘now’ to make sense in a story form, giving reality to apparent existence.  The ‘now’ features apparent reality using direct perception and also perception vide thoughts ( which are indirect but feels direct).  All of perception is happening only in the ‘now’, as if there isn’t any knowing out of now. Now is not long or short as all there is –is now. Etrnal, meaning without a relation to ‘time’. For every event, its all past and future is revisited mentally in a flash and meanings made. This happens each time for every event subject thought of. If a thought of wife or child or place comes up, its whole story in time is revisited in a flash and then understood.  Its like having to pass a flashback clip, everytime a movie clip has to show some idea of the past. Its all happening ‘now’ with no realtion to time, and time is depicted as an element in the featuring of now. This is the magic of creation. Complicated and featured simply.
 Now’ is actually eternal. It doesn’t mean that it has a every very long duration. It only means that ‘time’ is not applicable ‘to’ ‘now’. Since ‘now’ is all there is, and at the same time it is still ‘now’. The ‘focus’ or split mind dwells in contents of the ‘now’ whether present or absent ( as if kept in front of you and behind you) and converts it to a story of world of objects and ways of individual lives. All contents of what ‘is’ featured or ‘was’ featured or ‘will be’ featured is only a mechanism of ‘focus’ trying to dip into the contents of ‘now’ which are all ‘here’ in the now as direct or mental perception and mentally presents it as an event in time. The narration by thought of the featuring of presence and absence of objects makes a feel of time. Time by itself is not a ‘something’ that could be seen or heard or felt or tasted or cognised as such. It doesn’t exist. It is only made to feel that way, in a mental format or conceptual format or a magical way.  The magic of ‘life’ is its display of what ‘is’ and what ‘is not’ and make feel an event in time space, as if all of it was real and graspable.
Life moves on and on in this fashion, with no-one to claim otherwise because life is the only player, converting knowing of visual, audible, and such other knowing to make feel objects to itself, pretending to behave as individual bodies, which is not the case. But its very creative and effective. Living life from the point of view of ‘life’ is more fun, falling into the flow of nature, ever unpredictable and always spontaneous, embodying apparent objects of its contents and feeling its own self as its game of filling in time ( that is not). Now is all there is.

80. Mistakes and Guilt.


We learn many things in life. Languages, knowledge, cooking etc etc, most of comes to use in making living a little more easy, if we may believe so. Many a times, we seem to make mistakes and at times ‘blunders’. There are times when we curse ourselves and cry at our mistakes, which we think could be avoided.  At times, it is so severe as to loose one’s child, push one to death ete, or simply make the dish more salty and unpalatable, all of which are purely attributed to ‘mistakes’ of a person.
Basically it is just a notion that, whatever happened with ‘me’ as a doer, could be avoided, if one could  go back in time and space, or into the past. But ultimately, we reconcile that mistakes happen and either accept our mistake or try to cover it up, pretending that a mistake never comes to light, to others, that be involved with the effects of such mistake. Some may claim that ‘it’ was on purpose to save grace.
There is a basic element of ignorance in all these cases, in labelling of so called ‘mistakes’. One cannot help rectify the mistake, during its happening. Mostly it seems that there was no presence of mind while such mistakes were happening. You could make a ‘silly’ mistakes like in maths exam or a gross mistake like remitting money where one zero became additional or some ‘better half’ of a healthy tissue got operated upon or whatever.
Mostly, the mistakes are an outcome of forgetfulness, which is not in one’s control. We think that, it could be avoided, if at that time, memory had not failed or presence of mind was focused on the criticality of what should have not gone wrong rather than roam around aimlessly elsewhere  Could the situation be any different with say some practice or a method to avoid such instances in future?  Many would think so and there could be dozens of institutions raking in money, in making one believe their advice or expertise can do the needful and make one ‘mistake’ free.
Mistakes are seen as mistakes and seen as correct depending on the situation.  Sometimes mistakes help to make the situation better too, after which one may be appreciated for purposefully arranging  to make it seem like a mistake. When not seen as a mistake, it is not in that category.  The category only comes into light when the ‘effect’ of mistakes, is not ‘likable’, or else, one does not bother with the label. There are certain people who do not have such a category at all. In the animal kingdom, mistakes are not recognised at all. Hahaha.
What is the reality here? Can mistakes be avoided by some kind of method which can anticipate or stop  a mistake from happening? The answer is a clear “NO’.  Life operates bodies. A sense of ‘me’ or ‘doer’ is just a notion, derived from the language that ‘life’ uses, speaking bodies as ‘I’ or ‘me’. There isn't an ‘entity’ there, separate from life, that is in control, with a ‘will’ power to do correct or wrong or make mistake or prevent mistake. It seems that some have a good presence of mind and some do not. But at the very BASIS, there isn't  some-one to begin with, that can or cannot avoid mistakes.
So life flows as a set of correctness lased with seeming mistakes, as if done by a ‘one’. You can forgive and forget everybody’d mistake, as there isn't anyone in the body to make them or fake them.  Just take it easy and let life include accepting one’s own mistakes and others as well, as ‘what is happening’ in absence of a ‘doer’.  So mistakes are not mistakes is they are labelled. Another way to ignore is to realise that  ‘there isn't anybody’ to a body, to ‘make’ a mistake ‘happen’. It all just ‘what is happening’, good with a mix of seemingly ‘bad’.  So, one can relax, with a lesser sense of guilt about one’s mistake or use it to pursue the ‘entity’ that could make or avoid mistakes.

79. Problems and Solutions ( in life).


Life is really very funny. Its unlike a machine. All machines of one species are alike. There are treated similarly, behave similarly and are maintained similarly. That is how it seems. But within that, there could be hell of a lot of differences. Somebody’s TV can work for 12 years and the same brand may work elsewhere for only few months. Life is a name and a game of paradoxes or illogicity, believed  to ‘not’ so. Though nothing can be taken for granted and always, everything is taken for granted, being the ‘basis’ of problems. This is life, paradoxical and true.
Problems ( experienced in life) is a situation. Normally one thinks that life’s problems are solvable (but at most it is soluble).  Only, one has to be smart at it –( finding the right solutions) . That’s what he thinks. When the smarty, is unsuccessful, he may hear a remark from ‘another’ , that he was ‘extra-smart’. It is, as if, smartness is in the ‘finding’ the right ‘feel’ , where one can extend his smartness to the limit, just short of being extra-smart.
But, problems are just an experience. It has to pass. It passes too, unless you want to ‘hold’ on to the memory of the problem for ever and keep it alive, which is what is generally seen happening.
I was operating a mechanical workshop and the supervisor scolded a guy, whose was  a driver, for doing some engineering job. He told him, do the job that you are paid for. Now being a jack of all trade, the supervisor asked his assistance in custom clearance, which was his expertise, and he replied ‘ I am not paid for it’. We lost the order, that day. After a few days, it was again, the supervisor’s turn to find fault and the game went on. Now, it was easy for me to employ drivers rather than supervisors and so had to get around the driver. After, telling him, that he was using the problem of being humiliated, again and again, instead of getting over with it, I offered him ‘allow’ him ‘slap’ the supervisor and complete the anti- humiliation. They hugged each other and laughed it over.
So, was the problem solved or was the problem seen at its ‘face value’ as not a problem?.
Most of the times, our problems are related to a ‘sense’ of Power. It can come with money, groupism, health or whatever. Being in a situation with all the ‘goodies’ is a feel of ‘no-problem’ and being in line with not so goodies or the ‘badies’ is regarded or believed to be, as if, ‘facing problems’
The catch is in the word ‘facing’ problem. When problems are experienced, they are not faced. They are fought. You fight for betterment of money, health, friendship or being in a group, beauty, glamour, etc etc etc. The fighting is itself the problem. When the fighting stops, it is imagined to be the solution of the problem. When you have less money, you fight or struggle for more and when you face the fact, that more will never happen for now, you surrender to ‘live’ little poor. Solution is found when living in the ‘situation’ and ‘problem’ is experienced as ‘struggle’ to ‘get’ more.
‘Fighting’ a situation is THE PROBLEM that we generally ‘face’ and ‘facing’ the situation is what brings about dissolving of the problem. So only in the case of ‘mechanical’ or machines, a ‘no problem zone exists and a problem zone exists, However ‘solution’ is just brain invented word, that only re-enforces an ‘entity’ that exists as a ‘solver’ of unresolved situations.
Suppose your leg is cut or your partner dies, there is an instant ‘problem’. After few years, life goes on and there is no talk about this problem, as,  it is not ‘focused’ any more as problem or no-problem. Same with ‘money’, power, health etc. One doesn’t get back the damaged leg or dead partner. The gravity that ‘was’ when the problem was envisaged, is now experienced with less ‘gravity’  or burden. The mental fight for ‘better’ terms, regarding the original problem just passes over. However, one does explain, for always being right, that ‘time’ is a healer. There never was anything called ‘time’ or the ‘sufferer’ existing independently the ‘knowing’ that we are.
‘Apparent’ problematic situations arise and apparently it is ‘seen’ as less problematic from a different angle. Problems are only experienced or not and never ever gets really solved, other than being imagined so.
Problems and solutions are like looking at what is happening as  a mechanism of ‘cause and effect’. It doesn’t really exist as two ‘things’ independently.  Problem is not seen any more as problems so left alone. Experiences labelled as ‘problems’ are just like any other experiences. It comes and goes or  better labelled as ‘keep passing by’. Fighting to overcome problems is futile. The fight itself being the problem, other than which, there wasn’t one at all. It can really drain you out, if believed that problems ‘must’ be solved and not faced.
Many times you may be boycotted among friends or relatives and find yourself sulking. But being thoroughly absorbed in being individually left alone, welcomes any such boycott as a boon ( like a husband happy that the wife is not at home). Such person may feel a crowd as a problem.
Wisdom is in facing the situation or just flowing with the situation, knowing fully well, nothing ever happened.’ and allowing the experience to be faced and analysed fully, as if experimenting ‘how’ and ‘where’ a problem is felt to the body. What is depression, how does that energy play with the body, how it travels, intensifies and dies out, may be more enjoyable. This actually takes the sting out of the very label of anything being a problem.
So living a situation is a ‘no-problem’ and fighting a (hopeless) situation is an apparent problem. There are no solutions. So don’t get ‘involved’ in ‘solving’ life situations. You can love the company of people, but don’t ever imagine to ‘be savoir’ or solver of their problems. There aren’t any. There are as much success rates as failures and so nothing is true. Just ‘live’ to experience an experience for what ever it ‘feels’ to be. Life is just a ‘series’ of experiences and not situations to ‘somebody’.

78. Karma – Cause and Effect.



Karma is a common language used in all scriptures and ‘individual’ lives, seem to be related to the meaning of this word.
The general assumption is that, that Karma is a belief system, whereby the deeds of the past, is what is effecting your present. It only means that, the happening of the present, must have a link to the past. If you cant find the link in this life time, you are free to go back a few lifetimes and do the needful. But the needful ‘must’ be done, or else the theory will stand to be exposed as a ‘failure’ which cannot be accepted, due to belief systems in place of not allowing this to happen.
This deduction, is based on science, which has an explanation for all the laws of nature, as if, all happening  of nature, were featured by man made or laid down laws. So apples are falling down, because of gravity being 9.81 units/mass unit. So the cause of falling is gravity and gravity as a cause was ‘found’ by man. Before the find, apples were still falling down. So happening happens, and reasoning around the happening happens, as if it begged for a cause. So if apples fell into the sky, some new planet nearer to earth has popped in, to levitate gravity upward. But explanation or reason or cause, must come as an understanding. God makes the understanding, to avoid confusion, in order to maintain the knower, knowing and the known, as separate from each other.
The ‘assumed reality’ of life, is based on explanations and the basis of explanations is enforced by belief systems. What is a belief?. Whatever you believe that makes the world seem ‘real’ is a belief. This is hell of a statement, but must be believed, in order to work at a system to check out its worthiness. It automatically means  that, if you believe that ‘all this’ is bullshit, then that belief is held true, for you, as ‘reality’ of the ‘world’. Belief must be believed or whatever believed is belief, it all means the same, in the end.
We grow up in a belief system. A child is born with no beliefs whatsoever. No even that, whereby it can feel to be a separate entity. It doesn’t recognise anyone or anything, as adults do, including itself being a ‘person’ or a child, or a human or an entity. The programming of the child, into an adultery, by far, has a pattern of an open field which seems to absorb whatever it ‘comes across’ as a learning process to shape ‘itself’ up to the future or survival and social behaviour. Of course, in some cases, it is quite opposite, and we explain this, as we like.
Assuming we are humans and with an intellect, ( intellect cannot be negated, as we seem to cognise and learn languages etc. It could be life’s intellect as ‘us’ or our intellect, whatever it is, intellect does exist), there is a system whereby the intellect seems to learn and implement, whatever comes in way of this intellect. For a while, let us name the ‘human’ as just as intellect. This intellect is busy picking up data and some inherent system making their meanings, as it gets to know them and somehow all this is stored as memory. However, a system must be in place to ‘recognise’ sounds and actions and their meanings, so that, this system forms the basis for the entire set of working of the human system.
It is like first making a software system to a computer, that becomes the basis and that system then on, sytemises all that goes into it, as per the default programme and is able to ‘deliver’ itself, as per input, but primarily on the basis of the initial software.
Human intellect also works on some basis. It needs a system to grasp. That system has to be rooted very very strongly, in a way that the root is fixed for good until death. Such a system, when used as the base, will allow the human intellect to react or behave in a ‘human’ way, until seeming death.
Separation and cause and effect is enough, as an initial software. The belief that a real world exists, separation ‘exists’ and ‘cause and effect’ exists are the initial programming that can maintain and sustain the whole of human-ness as is seen now ( or separation ) to all its activity, as it passes through its entire living time or life time. Once the entire human race, comes under such a hypnotic clout’, the human race progresses as a theme of this hypnotism for ever, until that species is believed to exist.  
One knows that this intellect exists, even as a child, or at least, we say that human nature comes with intelligence, as if, intelligence is human nature. A child is brought up, being taught, that the mother is separate from it, meaning, the child is also separate entity and the world out there is more separate. Separation starts when this belief takes root. Then there is a series of ‘why’ being taught to the child. Why do you do this and that etc. Elders also howl at each other, wanting explanation for a why and the why becomes the theme of existence. Why is basically, a ‘want’ for explanation which fits the mind or soothens the mind. It is basically to put ‘cause and effect’ in place. Once separation and cause& effect and a basis takes root, the intelligence programmes memory with these settings. Meanings and reasoning are nothing but an extension of cause and effect and separation. Reasoning presumes that there ‘is’ such thing is ‘real’ and separate and gets rooted into the ‘developing’ system. Once reasoning, as a belief, takes root, explanation fills the belief to make them true.  There is no other way to be programmed for ‘us’ as this pattern remains maintained for all ages. It can fall if only the world is ‘unreal’ and this is unacceptable immediately to the whole human race. All memory is a set of meanings to sound and other sensation and a belief that such meanings, being commonly accepted is true. Memory then becomes the basis of continuity and what is happening now, is linked to the past, as if ‘cause and effect’ and memory develops along ‘that’ line.
So what exactly is Karma. Accumulation of memory is Karmic or Karma. Its a default program to a humanity. Addiction is memory based or an effect of memory. So the deeds of the past, are accumulated as memory and memory or knowledge or reasoning through memory decides the way you will behave in future. So knowledge is the basis of reasoning and reaction to one's behavior in life. So how memory is conditioned is how you will behave. Karma is another name for the belief that cause and effect is meaningful and does exist. To create such existence, rooted to the past, howsoever small the past may be, does allow ‘time’ as an extension to make this belief ‘valid’. Now, separation, time and cause & effect becomes the software to  ‘our’ programming.  This software is named KARMIC Software.So Human suffering is an act of conditioning. The only condition that is worth noting is that, we are conditioned to believe that we are 'separate' individual, as if the essence of what we are, is separate from the world. Or 'we' are inside the body and the rest of what is -happens to be the world and this is a 'FACT'. 
When explanations fail to connect a certain effect to any known cause, the void is filled by bringing the unknown to fill the explanation. These take form of previous births, heaven and hell for future births etc etc. Explaining or reasoning and attaching cause and effect or meanings or concepts is all the same game. This game is given the symbol ‘KARMA’. It just means conceptualising or meaning making or cause and effecting the ‘present’ to past or future. This maintains a ‘living’ past, and a ‘living’ future for the truth of the belief in the present living.
When this system falls apart for whatever reason, call it awakening, or brain damage or loss of 'me-sense etc, which is again a meaning making for such happening, it is seen that all concepts, were only for making a reality of separation, which never existed, and thereby, feel the illusion of time and space and also thingness of forms or objectifying forms, as ‘real’ to that of a real ‘me’ is in a real world.
Karma or cause and effect explanations, forms the basis of separation and reality and time, that maintains reality to the world of objects, which is otherwise a simple play of intelligence, the very nature of IT, being a highly hypnotic illusion.
In the absence of ‘Karma’, belief systems, cause and effect, time and space, just falls out of the maintained system, and there is a coming back to ‘what is happening’ here and now, with no basis to believe expect that, what is happening is what is happening and there is no-one to believe or disbelieve, other than the basis of the development of intelligence, playing out that mind-body as separate. This is a state of being childlike.
Anyway, this is the play of intelligence with the theme of ‘KARMA’ as can be enjoyed for what it is or suffered to be what ‘we’ ‘think’ this all is.

77. Reformation and Transformation


Reformation is a path whereby one changes ‘oneself’ to become ‘another oneself’ or changes his inlook and so also his outlook, for himself and to others, as to who one should be known as.  It is as if, one is not happy with oneself and needs to become ‘more’ or different, which becomes a goal and also unfolds a path, to reach such goal. There is a trying to get there and with some grace, a  success as wished or failure as unexpected, depending on seemingly various factors of ‘will power’, clarity, dedication, sincerity,  Conducive circumstances, luck, success etc etc as purporting the end result.
People reform themselves from being smoker, non-vegetarian, angry bad person, etc to their opposite behaviour. Here it seems as though one has a choice and free will to make possible this change, as planned and have a good rate of success ( but is seen to range from normally from 0 to 100) and any deviations are explained to patch up the deviancies along the line.
Motivations, role models, examples, success rate data’s, therapy etc, are introduced as support to make reformation successful. For some, it comes out very easy and for others its a perfect disaster that becomes known only at the end of the game. They can say, we played the game to ‘lose’. Might as well have – ‘not played’ at all. The pathway gets suffocating for such victims of reformation.
Transformation is the limit of reformation.  The range here is seemingly different. One doesn’t know where he started off and where he landed up. It has nothing to do with trying to transform. It is a complete change of life’s behaviour pattern, as compared to ones mental conditioning. Life form, then on, never seems the same to oneself, even though to the outside world, he may seem never to have changed. ‘Awakening’ is a term for such transformation. The ‘me-sense’ or a sense of doer-ship is just ‘missing’ completely for that ‘apparent’ person, as if it was an illusion right from the beginning of ‘his’ life.
Transformation is not reformation. One can’t plan to lose oneself. It is suicidal. You need help of life, or ‘Grace’ outside of one’s ‘thought of’ abilities to bring about transform. The present pattern of one’s mental conditioning and meaning held about oneself and the outside world, both seem to be of ‘no’ significance at all after such occurrence. However life goes on, much lighter, compared to before, as if one has left behind a big burden of ‘trying’ to live life.  
Existence is ‘Life’ happening around, as if ‘with’ events and people and the rest, always in a rush to  maintain change.  ‘People’ are in fact not other than existence. Meaning, it is ‘life’ all the way, expressing as people and trees and roads and days and nights etc. However in normal cases, we are taught to believe that we are living life as separate persons, rather than being ‘hollow forms’lived by life, that has no ‘we’ component to take charge of it at all. It is life that talks these body forms as ‘I’ and ‘me’ and behaves as if, ‘we’ live with individual freewill and choice. This is not understood as there is no-one ‘in there’ to have this understanding, or life pretends to put ‘you’ off making such claims about non-duality, lest its game, be easily exposed, which is still a part of the play of duality, making it more ‘lively’.
Part of life’s game as existence, is to realise that this is non-serious playing of itself. This requires a new style of expression ‘as’ ‘transformed people’, even though all of it is ‘life’ in expression.  The ‘person’ concerned who has this ‘understanding’ before  and after, feels a huge difference within himself, as life played out that person, before and after. The after game, seems perfect and extraordinary, while the whole world was looking at the ‘before’ part, as imperfect and ordinary play of life. The play out as seen ‘after’, is a case of transformation that transforms the person from being ‘someone’ to not being at all or being ‘no-one’.  No-one is a very amusing game. All can be said about someone. But for a no-one, there isn’t as case to be ‘said’ at all. It is like talking all the itme about a ‘no –elephant’. Its funny. Its a big joke played out on the whole ‘no-human’ race.
So humans reform and feel better or worse, but when transformed, its the ‘one’ just popped out of the normal life-style system. The someone of everyone seems ‘jacked’ and also thus was the case already, for all time before, and never ever noticed. An open secret –as call it to be.
Huge sighs and lots of fun, from then on, watch the joke, playing out mankind as if ‘real’ separate entities, who have lost all the fun.

76. Thinking and Acting


We think, we act, we play, we discuss, we plan, and go about our daily work as if, we are in control of ‘intelligence’. These words hide the intelligence’s working, as if, makes feel, it is our personal limited entity’s intelligence at work.
Thinking is an activity. Talking, planning, playing, etc are activities. Activity of the ‘form’ is a seeming ‘action’ or acting or expression. This includes, movements of body, (including mouth and vocal cords,  for the talking part ) , as if, action/expression is taking place. However, thinking or planning ( which again is also thinking) seems prior to action. Thinking however, is an activity in itself or an action / expression, where the movement is, formless in nature and is a direct ‘creation’ by consciousness or life itself. All movements and acting or actions are of ‘life’ itself, but the movement of forms, seems limited to form, as if, life is also limited to that form only, which is not the case in reality. In reality, there is ‘only life’ appearing as forms and formless, as we speak of objects and thoughts.
We sometimes say, think before you speak or before you act, so as to avoid self embarrassment or damage to others, to an extent, unintended.  We can tell somebody, very close, “why did you rob my money” and he may hang himself in guilt, and we may add another guilt to ourself, for ‘effecting’ such a result on that person, more far than our expectation, that seems to make us own such guilt. Here it seems, we could have, by some chance, saved the ‘happening’ if we could think correctly the consequences, prior to speech or at the right time, so as to say.
It may seem, thinking and speaking is an art to be mastered. But, thinking is an activity and speaking or acting out -is an also an activity. So think before you speak, becomes ‘act before you act’. Here the problem is that, the ‘you’ that needs to make such a ‘doing’ possible is ‘objectively ’ absent’. The doer of all deeds or activities is ‘life’ itself. Call it consciousness, life force or God or what ever. Even though it seems a separate entity, that is doing so ( thinking and speaking or acting). It is life force animating the form that is doing it. The fan may seem to rotate, but the electricity is the rotator to the form. The form is just an image to depict the expression like a painting of the painter. The painting doesn’t express anything. Life expresses itself as the painting, the painter, the forms etc.
Form is an expression of life. The expression of the form is the expression of life ‘as’ form. Thoughts and knowings are the expressions of life as formless forms, or unseen forms. The totally of all  expressions of ‘Life’ is the Universe that is known ( to life itself as knowing).
So, it is ‘life’ expressing as thoughts seemingly to forms, and ‘life’ animating forms, as if, an effect of thought.  And so All there is –is life, as forms and formless  (thought, emotions, etc) being the totality as this waking state knowing and dream state knowing, expressing itself as a world of known objects.
So next time when thinking happens and speaking happens, just know that it is all happening, with no-one separate to be in charge of happenings, other than happening itself, unfolding that way in the knowing of it.

75. Appearance, Reality and Language.


Appearance, Reality and Language are all interlinked. Appearance appears as reality and fortified by language. How does this get managed? Mysteriously- is one answer and funnily or seriously is other, out of the many more that can be brought about as more names.
When appearance appears real, meant real and felt real, it has no choice but to be real.Reality cannot ‘appear’ real or unreal, because reality is not appearance. Reality is reality. Appearance is its  pseudo effect. It’s not ‘what it is’ and hence the name. The form of appearance cannot either taken seriously ( as real) nor can be discounted ( as unreal). Hence know as appearance, meaning neither real nor unreal. ‘What’ knows the knowing of appearance can do the trick of knowing appearance as an expression of reality in what ever terms its wants itself known.
I appear to be angry, means I am neither angry nor un-angry. Its reality is not fixed. Its like making yourself appear angry to a child. You are just appearing to do so. Now, if the child believes so, it feels it real. Some children are too stubborn or smart and say, you are pretending. Now it can make you laugh and call off the show, or it can make you pretend more real as angry until the child has no option but to think that its earlier thought was a mistake and so, slowly it believes that you could be angry, and abides by, what you wanted the child to think and staert to cry, so that you can ‘now’ call off the show of being really angry or pretence angry, which by now it is not really assessing the value about.  Appearances have this quality. It can enforce, what it wants to believe. There is no one judge what is true about it and false. It is sole discretion of knowing of the ‘appearance’ which is Life itself as its source.
When we say, I appear angry or relaxed, it is an expression of ‘life’ animating this body. However, memory can twist the appearance to reality as if, I am a angry man/ bad man etc to imprint a permanent label of that expression onto the man itself, as if there could be an angry ‘man’. The temporary expression has been mentally made permanent - but mentally. Expressions change and changes are not permanent. No one gets this in the head, because there is no –one, other than an appearance and there is no head. Mind is also an expression of the source or the expression animator called ‘life’. Life becomes mind, to be used as a tool of the source to manage expressions or appearances into forced reality that is ‘not’.
What is reality? If there was no reality at all, and all that is perceived were appearances, the innocence would believe the perception to what is depicted, as if the child was assessing your anger. It believes what is expressed. So the truth remains hidden. However, the key to knowing anything is knowing itself and not the holding of the knowing as memory as a temporary part of the change. So reality by itself is a mindboggling, because as far as creation is concerned, reality is playing out as its expressions by being ‘what is’ as its appearance and boggling the mind into believing it is real, without a choice not to do so, life being mind itself.
Language is meaning making of perception. We have sign language, body language, spoken language, meaning happening to oneself as if in thought and emotions etc. So meaning making about perception, is happening as if multipronged through various forms of language and effecting the knowing, as if it was the only way to know, or forcing a knowing to take place, as if, there was  meaning or story of what the perception was. Story them becomes a reality. In the absence of a ‘separate’ knower, knowing itself acts as the knower, since all contents of experience have to known by itself, whichever way it chooses to and express, with life being the expression as well the knowing of it.
So knowing perception is packed foolproof system of getting to know whatever is depicted as real. What else there could be to know, other than knowing it the way knowing seems to know it. In fact, It is impossible to imagine any other way to beat the knowing to know better, as there is no other than knowing to do the knowing. So the game goes on, undetected as, the detector, that has to do the knowing as a  ‘who’, is also the expression and also the knower of it as the knowing of it. So life as the source of creation, expressing itself, and knowing itself by being ‘knowing’ also, is all in itself, known whichever way it desires to know itself.
So, all there is perception, made to feel real, as if there is world and people, apart from the perception of it, as depicted to the ‘knowing’ suffering or rejoicing, as the meaning given in the perception, converting its biggest joke of being its own expression but seeming like a world of objects.
Knowing at times, laughes at its own jokes, like we chuckle. Hahaha.

74. Energy and effects of IT.


Do we know energy?. Do we understand energy? How do we go about energy?. Does it exist? What is energy?.

All these are questions . The answers are anybody’s  guess and belief.

Lets us take electricity. What is electricity. It produces light in bulbs, motion in motors, magnetism in coils, shocks in persons etc etc . All the descriptions are the effects of electricity. Depending on the effect, we ‘assume’ what is causing them is ‘electricity’.

The light cant know it, the shock can know it, the motor cant know it. Etc. Either the effect is there or not there. But who or what is the cause is anybody’s guess and nobody’s confirmation.

What we are trying with electricity, is as good as with any energy. Ultimately, all energy is just one energy, which just is not measurable, feelable, knowable etc directly and whatever means we use to know, can only manage to know the ‘effect’ of energy. We are not able to know energy directly, because the essence of electricity or energy is ‘pure’ intelligence ‘exhibiting’ ‘effects’ as audible, visible, feelable,  shockable, etc measurable only as an effect and calibrated to whatever is ‘convenient’. etc. What you perceive or measure is an ‘effect’ and not IT, or whatever  we call energy. So what is ‘noticed’ is only ‘movement’ of energy called ‘effect’. Even a still visual has to be continuously maintained by ‘movement’ of energy. What energy is, no-one will ever know even though, It exists ‘effected’ as all that can ever be known.

Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. If it was not created, how did it come about.  Does it exist as something at all, that can be perceived directly unlike assuming its presence through its effects?. Is it present as an absence, which can never ever be known as to what it is?. If not perceivable, directly, it cant be said to be ‘is’ or ‘is not’. It neither ‘is’ nor ‘is not’ as energy, because what energy is, is not directly detectable as whatever its ‘core’ is. Then how do we make an ‘it’ to ‘it’ as if present?.

All said and done, energy “is” because its effects ‘are’ perceivable and all energy is one energy in different forms or differently perceived effects.

Such an intelligence is ‘Life”. It could be the only intelligence that ‘Life’ is.  It could be ‘effecting’ as the visual, audible, perceivable etc, that makes up the world and the ‘effect’ perceivable is the ‘form’ of this creation. With some ‘special’ effects as time and space, and the power to know itself called mind, the universe ‘is’. It is not a universe, but an effect created by something that is not, at least physically, but named as energy or intelligence. 

The knowing of energy is an aspect of energy itself. In fact, the knowing of ‘its’ effects is only what ‘is’, because as such, energy is present as not a thing but presence itself as intelligence or subjectivity. In some mysterious way, intelligence plays itself as ‘only’ knowing. To know is to be and to be is to know, is the ‘magic’ act.  Knowing of something makes feel it is present, and this is the ‘mysteriosity’  of the intelligence. Knowing of visual, knowing of audible etc etc, with time and space as ‘technical knowing’ is able to ‘make feel’ with some practice, as one grows up, ( but there isn’t anyone other than intelligence with its effects) as an effect of some big universe. Memory or intelligence as memory, and imagination, adds more flare to the game of increasing space of ‘here’ to everywhere and increase ‘now’ to past and future. Add to this ‘conditioning’ or ‘accepting’ forms as ‘things’ and ‘me’s and you’s, create the balance to make this game, self-sustaining and evolving as the scientific universe that appeals to us.

So energy is ‘Nothing’ as  nothing can be said about it, its ‘movement’ causes an perceivable effect or ‘knowing’ and such knowings in many aspects as of visual, audible, thought, emotions etc, which is again ever changing make up this universe of ‘form’ and objects in the mind, or using mentally empowered thingness to forms.  So interest in the game  or its aliveness is kept up by change of effect or else called ‘movement’ of effect, which is already movement of energy, as we can explain to ourselves as objects of such effect of the energy called ‘Life’ . Progress, digress, creativity, competitions, love  and hate,  etc. are the names for such movements, that maintain the ‘sense’ of energy. The effect is a impact of energy and also the sensing of its presence.

So all in all, Life is intelligence which is another word for energy, creating its effects as appearances and experiences to form that IT is perceivable ( as effects or reflections only) and with a little or more flair of time, space and a ‘feel’ of ‘thingsness’  to human body that we think we are, to make the theatrical dramatics complete.

73. Presence, Absence and You


It is not very easy, to understand how we perceive anything. Let us take an object called  X. When X is present to the seeing, we perceive its presence. Once an idea of X is firmed up, the perception of that X can from then on keep happening, whenever it feels like. Let us presume X was a car. As the car goes out of the seeing limits, it has disappeared. If anyone asks you, where the car ‘is’, you would tell him, just round the corner on the parallel road or something like that. So there is first a visual presence of the car, until it is absent to the seeing. Once it is absent to the seeing, it is present to memory or mind, what we call, ‘mentally present’. So all contents of seeing are first apparently present to the seeing and their physical absence then becomes a mental presence. This includes people and places as they seem to be mentally present somewhere, even though out of sight. So the universe being present is a combination of physical presence ( when present to ‘seeing’ ) and mental presence of all that is absent to the physical seeing.
Where is your son?, we say, he ‘is’ in the backyard. His ‘isness’  or presence is ‘fit-ted’ into physical or mental space.
If we close our eyes, the contents of physical seeing disappears and reappears in the seeing of it. So contents of seeing are present only in the seeing of it. Similarly, the rest of the universal space, including all that was seen in the past and likely to be seen in the future is floating abstractly somewhere in the mental space to be 'seen' in the thinking of it. Just like contents of seeing or physical presence of objects, ‘only’ appears in the seeing, contents of mental seeing of mental objects are available ‘only’ to the mental seeing. Mental seeing is actually thinking of the mental contents. Just like physical contents are absent when not seen, the mental contents are absent when not thought about them.
Duration or time also is such an object. A series of appearance and disappearance is ‘termed’ movement. There is no movement, other than appearing and disappearing. What disappears physically is made mentally present as a reference and compared to next physical presence, to make movement. Without ‘mind’ or mental help, there can be no movement. Physically, there is only appearing of fresh new scenes. We cannot make out the freshness of any new scene as we are caught up with mental presence, interfering with physical presence to make a ‘notion’ of change or movement.
So physical presence is what is perceived physically in the seeing and physical absence is mental presence, what is perceived mentally. It is very strange that we are able to perceive the universe mentally, as we have to assimilate all that is seen in the past and future, to make a perception of universe. In this case, when sitting in the room, that instant seeing is only for a fraction of a second and has to be assimilated with mental contents of a ‘life time’. The fractional content is physical and lifetime content is mental. In other words, the presence of  ‘your’ whole universe is purely mental with fractional or negligible physical presence. It does not sound very soothing that the universe is ‘mental’ or that there is ‘no’ physical universe.
So coming back to the point of presence, there is a physical presence of contents of seeing and mental presence of the same contents, when it ‘goes’ absent to the seeing. This means there is no complete absence of contents or a single content called X, unless it is absent to the seeing and absent to the thinking also. This means, if X is not thought about, it can be absent so totally that nothing need be discussed about X as if X was outside of time and space , physical or mental, out of universe.Therefore featuring anything, 'makes' it present and not featuring is out of the sphere of time and space.
Absence of mental content is called ‘fasting’ of the mind. All that physically disappears, including your body, when there is not seeing of it, like in sleep, must be present to the mind and that too in the thinking of it and not otherwise. So all that is featured, including time and contents of space is available only in the thinking or physical appearance of it. This being the game of MAYA, a combination of physical appearance and mental appearance makes the world that we perceive and there can be nothing outside of IT. Since we have no power to create physical appearance nor mental appearance, the notion of we, since perceived, must also be a featured content. This completes the MAYA, featuring the universe with a ‘me’ as if the centre of perception.
Since there is only contents of physical seeing and mental seeing as what is happening and there is a perceiving of it, because which we conclude that these contents ‘are’, the perceiving of the content gives it the 'isness' or presence and the contents are not separate from perceiving, The perceiving is the contents or what is happening and what is happening is the perceiving of it. If the perceiving of it is the symbol called ‘I am’ and is not separate from the contents perceived called what is happening, then what is happening is also ‘I am’. So there is only what is happening  or ‘I am’ which seem two sides of the same coin but in practice is one and the same . Perceiving is what is happening and what is happening is perceiving. Perceiving is a behaviour or capacity of ‘Presence’ making what is happening as physical presence or its absence as mental presence as if what is happening are the contents of Presence. If the material of what is happening is that of Presence and so is Perceiving as the power of the material of Presence, then all there is –is Presence, seeming to be what is happening or the Universe and such presence is ‘you’ or your nature, which all is as isness, acknowledging all that is- by being all that is as seeing and thinking of IT.

72. Featuring of a Me-sense

The universe or the world appears to humans relatively or absolutely ( so as to say). In other words, there are two ways to view the world. One as 'real', like we normally see, where in, we are real individuals and the world or Universe if full of objects. It is more of a feeling than a seeing. The other is when whatever appears, 'feels' apparent, as if time and space were not independent reality, and the whole of 'seeing' is featured, along with a 'feel' to feel it real. In the absence of the 'feel' about the world, being missed out in the featuring of the world, only wholeness is seen or felt as ONE. 

Everybody or almost all humans, experiences a feel of individuality, as if there is a person to the body. The reality of this feeling is also the cause for reality of the the outside world, the cause being featuring of this 'feel' to the so called mind. This goes unquestioned for a life time, until it is questioned accidentally. This questioning of the ‘self feeling’ to the body, comes about in many ways, due to reading spiritual books, accidentally coming across ‘persons’ that have dealt with this syndrome  or even just like that for no apparent reason. All this, is part of what we are being featured as.

In one sense, the ‘me sense’ is felt inside the head, assuming that thoughts seemingly take place there. It is one reason that you feel tall, as if few feet from the ground. We say we are five feet six inch tall, it’s because we feel ourselves in the head. Due to some reason like getting enlightened, the ‘me sense’ may drop to the chest. Ramana used to speak of the self being situated on the right side of the heart.  In such a case, you would feel shorter by two feet and this would make no sense and would result in ‘not feeling’ a me-sense at all, which seems to be the case for awakening.

The sense of doership is the feel of a me sense. ‘Karma’ is associated with a sense of doership. Thoughts keep coming to the mind, as if a ‘me’ as  a doer was looped into the thoughts. More the thoughts, pertaining to oneself, keeps the me-sense centred to the body. This is a matter of habit or practice or simply conditioning. To a large extent, it will drop off, when it is seen that, bodies are operated by life, with no centre at all and all doing is ‘life’s’ doing, as if a common intelligence for the whole of creation.

All doing, is life doing- ‘as all’. Life features humans defending the fiction that they are individual and real. The whole human race is featured feeling individual, as if they had free will and choice. Life talks humans, walks humans etc, and makes it impossible for ‘anyone’, ( that is not) to know if what is featured is true or false. Its only with a some analysis, that it is noticed that all talk and actions are initiated through thoughts, which one has no idea,as to how it comes about. With some small analysis, one finds it difficult to grasp, how he got hold of a new idea, or grasped a new language etc or how intelligence cannot be ‘owned’.

Being featured as individual persons or forms with a ‘me-sense’ becomes more clear, when the mind gets into searching for the ‘me’ itself. The mass hallucination plays an important role, to make the featuring seem real. The extraordinary behaviour of consciousness or intelligence itself, seems ordinary, so as to say.

The ‘me-sense’ is thus a fiction. It doesn’t exist. It feels true because it is featured to feel true. Dropping away of ‘me-sense’ is what is sought in ‘seeking’ which fails again because seeking must have a ‘me-sense’ to seek, which is part of the ‘featuring’ of waking state. The whole creation of waking state is just a contract to the whole featuring of the dream state. In the dream, the dream character is more ‘light’ and more detached of having any sense of ‘me’ and so is featured not so continuous on a day to day basis.

Me-sense must make you feel contracted to the body. Its makes you feel heavy as if, gravity was only due to ‘me-sense’.  It comes at a age of 5 months to one year, when the ‘you’ is born and drops accidentally for ‘some’ midway or a few minutes before clinical death. So there is a chance to die before you die, but accidental as no death in one’s hand. It is featured too.

Seeking material gain or comfort like wealth and power, psychological comfort like peace and bliss, avoiding pain, spiritual seeking etc etc, are filling time, pretending to be a doer. There is no getting out of being individual with free will and choice. It should happen to you. It is only a feeling of no me, which has to be featured, as if featuring sadness, emotions, anger etc, that is not in one’s control. One imagines that one can drop the ‘me-sense’ with a ‘me’ taking form to do this activity and like in all probable cases, there is a small element of success. However it cannot be taken to be a path or method, as there are many other probabilities that are ‘featured’ for awakening to come about.

So there is nothing to do, just be, while all is being is Being, being featured as if objects, including humans,  including being featured as ‘awakened’.

71. Space.


What can we say about space? It seems to be everywhere in the feeling of it and no-where as a object with a scientific proof that can substantiate its existence, other than people concluding so, without any other option.
Space can be thought of something as an absence. Absence of objects could be space. But there seems to be space in matter too. It is not displaced to accommodate matter. If we accept space as non- matter or an absence, then we have to accept an idea that matter seems to be moving in / present in non-matter or in absence, like planets in space.  Its like imagining, whatever is present is basically amalgamated in what is absent. That is a paradox.
The problem remains that space cannot be something. We are not displacing anything, when we move around freely. So space has to be ‘nothing’. Then we are back to square one that, everything is appearing to float around ‘in’ nothing.  Nothing is not a matter of discussion at all, because, nothing cannot be said to be ‘is’ or is not’ or present or absent. When space is nothing, how can ‘things’ seemingly  float in ‘nothing’. Nothing can float in things but something cannot float in nothing.
Space could be mental. If so, then all objects, floating in ‘mental’ cannot be physical. They have to be mental too.  May be they are.
So a simple thing like space, seems to exist, seems to exist as something that is non-existing in terms of grasping what it could be and seems to be ‘neither’, as there is no way of understanding space.
All possibilities of space seem to work well, only in a dream. Space can be seemingly there, but not there as something and neither, to be true. If all dream scenes are made of dream material, then all that is seemingly in space has to be space material. There seems to no place that is not space. This would be much like God, existing everywhere and as no-thing to be anywhere.
What if space was ‘life’ itself as far as waking state is concerned. What if space was the most intelligent thing or intelligence personified as space. What if space could become hard and colourful at will and makes up the seeming world, with movement ‘as if, things and objects were not ‘of’ space. The effect of a man moving can be designed by space, by just being hard, at will, seemingly in motion. What if, space was life that was talking  you, walking you etc even when it can ‘keep’ you in itself, like in the womb of the mother?
Nothing can be said about space because it is not tangible as an object. If we believe that space as such, that is not tangible, and is only an intelligence that seems to make an appearance of space, as if, it is there, and not there, then we can believe in such other possibilities as God and Consciousness also with such formats. In fact, it is impossible to know something like space, but its possible to accept that space ‘is’. Mental or physical or whatever cannot be known, but we are so immersed in space, but still unable to figure out its nature, attributes, intelligence etc, because we could be that space itself, if we let go the feeling of ‘me’ to the body. Then what we are, could be characterised with the likeness of space, making it purely a background to all appearances of the universe as if the objective nature of the space itself was the universe. Just like space is a basic requirement for objects to be ‘or’ not to be, Consciousness or ‘I am’ ness is the background for the appearance of world of forms, thoughts and emotions.
Space is the best simile to what we are as Consciousness. Is, is not and neither, without attributes.

70. Experiencing and ‘Consciousness'.


This piece of blog could be a good ‘pointer’.
How to we experience this world. Is there an experience-er. How do we know?
It feels a subject - object world and it is impossible to make out the truth of what we are, unless it happens as an ‘insight’. If all thoughts with meanings are happening on its own, if all actions, as a result of thoughts and its meaning, is happening on its own, if all analysis of what is seen and heard is happening on its own, then what is the role of ‘me’ in all of this.
There is something known as a phantom leg. In this the patients leg is amputated and there is an ‘experiencing’ of a leg, as if the original leg was not amputated at all. There is itching, and all feel, as if, you had the leg intact. Now, all the ‘experiencing’ of that ‘no-leg’ is happening, but at a place where there is no-leg or where there is ‘nobody’ to experience. It can be said, that, experiencing is happening about that leg to nobody and nowhere. So is the ‘experiencing’ of all ‘THIS’ which is ( the so called universe, including your body mind). So everybody is free as even that somebody was only the ‘experiencing of it’ by nobody or mysteriously ( symbolised as consciousness).     
No-one can know, what is happening exactly there, in terms of factuality. There is nothing happeing factually, outside the experiencing and there is no-one as experience-er, outside of experiencing. Everything there is ‘mental’ and ‘mental’ is a word used for ‘nobody’ or to mystery (symbolised as consciousness).     .
Similarly we experience visual objects, where there is nothing like objects, sounds where there is nothing like sounds, pain where there is nothing like pain. Here ‘nothing like’ means- ‘apart from the experiencing of it’ or stand alone facts, outside the experiencing of it.
The experiencing of a visual is not ‘the visual’. We dream at night.  Say, Nanda is the dream character. The dream character, say, is experiencing a snake bite. The dream character also experiences fear. The Nanda lying on the bed is also experiencing a rapid heart beat. So many experiencing’s  are happening on its own and some interpretation is also happening,  explaining a meaning to that dream character ‘happenings’ and also that which is happening  to the ‘one’ lying on the bed.
So there is series of experiencing happening and thoughts happening, with meaning, about the experiencing happening. Now the meaning happening is happening as if, it is happening to a ‘body mind’, but that body-mind is also an ‘experiencing’ of that what is happening.
So, mysteriously a body-mind is first ‘happening’ as an experiencing and as an extension to that experiencing, another experiencing ‘as world’ is also happening, and experiencing of thoughts are happening to make meaning, as if that ‘extension’ is experienced by the this experience as ‘body-mind’.
The ‘feeling’ of hate, love, anger, seems to appear to this body, as a reaction, to the experiencing of that outside world and the totality of all this bunch of sensations seems as if a ‘world’ is happening to a ‘person’.
The ‘Person’ the ‘visual’, ‘audible’ olfactory, etc etc are all sensations. Sensations or sensing is another word for experiencing. So there is ‘world of sensations’ that is happening and since there is ‘no world’ outside of these sensations, and no-one to whom it is happening, it is impossible to see, what is happening, outside of these sensations.
So ‘one set’ of sensations is happening ‘to mean’ as body –mind’ and ‘another set’ of sensations is happening ‘to mean’ as the world, and there seems some action in the ‘second set’ and some reaction in the ‘first set’ as if the ‘first set’ is experiencing the ‘second set’, the meaning to which is enabled in thoughts, as thoughts are ‘meaningful’ experiences. So we are directly experiencing ‘meanings’ of ‘sensations’ or ‘thoughts’ of ‘experiences’ which makes a subject- object world.
Outside of experiencing, there is no world, no person, no body, no mind and so, nothing ‘real’ is happening. If happening of experiencing is regarded as ‘psychic’, then all there is, is a ‘psychic’ world out there, like a dream, including a dream character in a dream world, all being played out well, but no-one experiencing this waking dream as an objective ‘entity’.
That no-one (objective) is what is called consciousness which is the experience-er, as well the experiencing of something ‘that is not happening at all’ objectively.
If all this can make sense to that ‘no-one’ that you are, because experiencing this is the reading of it and meaning of it,  then,  the pointing has pointed well. Or else, this pointing will become a seed of doubt to the ‘individual’ to have his or her path, trying to get this, which is also an experiencing ‘of a person’ trying to get this, ending in success or seeking.

69. Suffering and ‘Me’ sense.


We normally feel that we are suffering due to one or other reasons. The feeling is so strong or real that we cannot imagine that there is a possibility that, there could be a way ‘not to feel’ the suffering.
People try to be patient, get motivated, counselled etc., as ‘ways out’ of suffering. Some succeed to some extent. Also, it is easy to write, that suffering is unreal, even though it feels real, but no harm in bringing some sense of humour, into what suffering actually is.
There seems to be a cause of suffering and a another root cause of suffering, apart from the immediate cause. The immediate cause of suffering seems to be rooted in external situations, seen unacceptable to a ‘me’. ( or something that I am helpless about ) and the root cause is the illusory relation that is maintained, of the outside world and ‘me’ itself.
We normally tend to attack the symptoms of suffering because the root cause is beyond the appeal to mind. We shortlist the reasons for suffering as lack of money, time, friends, health, mood, character, enthusiasm, situations, and many more to this list and try to strive to increase the chances of improving the external nature of suffering by ‘trying to’ fill up the gap. We try and improve our personalities, relationships, take advise of elders, consultants, pundits and swamijis etc to achieve this target. The ‘known’ and ‘unknown’ causes that seem to bring about suffering, are  imagined to be ‘real’.
Firstly we accept that suffering is ‘real’ and the sufferer also as ‘real’. We believe that life is difficult and we must suffer. In other words, suffering makes life ‘real’. We continue to find ways to suffer to maintain the difficulty of life, so as to maintain the ‘reality’ of the fiction that life is real. Maintaining the suffering is maintaining the sufferer. The suffering is the sufferer –so as to say. Our words and actions too, play out the suffering to the maximum to keep it going. We ‘strive’ (another word for suffering) to come out of suffering. Studying hard, working hard, exercising hard ( physically and mentally) etc, where in full effort ( another word for struggle or suffering) seems to spring out from the sufferer as if a drowning person is trying to save himself.  When there is struggle to get out of water, you normally are not doing the swimming right and run the risk of drowning. Similarly, we try to cover all tracks that can lead to suffering in one go and find the struggle a big burden in life. Life is a burden and burden is life seems to be the bottom line.
What is suffering?. Suffering is an effort to fill up the lack of want verses what you seem to have. You are lean and want to be fat or the other way. You are unhappy and want to be happy. The lack is only in areas of security and pleasure. Seeking is another name for suffering. Seeking wealth and health and peace of mind is struggling on these issues. By grace and in time, some healing of suffering does take place. But in that time, the wants also seem to increase. You don’t want what you have and you want what you don’t have, becomes the ‘logo’ of seeking of suffering. When you get what you want, it already goes into that list of what you don’t want ( or what does not need to be looked into) and the circle of suffering is kept continuous.  This seeking is helpful in maintaining the ‘me sense’. If you are perfectly happy and there is nothing that you want, life becomes hopeless. It is hope that keeps filling time of an illusory ‘me’.
Following lines are apt from ‘Fundamental Expressions’: How can one be in state of ‘perfect and permanent happiness’?  'In perfect and permanent happiness'- there will be no further hope. So the state is 'hopeless'. If you can bear 'hopelessness' now, that is you are not seeking relief through future as if present is compulsive, 'you are in perfect and permanent happiness' now.
We think we are suffering due to external situations not being in our control. Suffering is a mental state. It is a way of ‘seeking change’  The ‘lack’ comes from the conditioning that the present state ‘must not be’. There is a resistance to being present in this state. The resistance is the suffering. It is Natures ‘method’ to maintain the ‘me sense’.  This also sees the activity of continuously changing the world, to meet the gap, causing the suffering. The ‘need’ to want a change maintains the ‘me sense’ here and also becomes an activity that is constantly changing the external conditions or the world. Change is the fundamental element in Creation. What keeps changing is ‘objective’. The whole simulation of ‘want’ is automatic and self sustaining. Understanding the working of nature is coming in terms with the flow of life.
Accepting ‘what is’ is allowing the change to be. The change is ‘going to be’ –come what may. Resistance make you feel separate and as if an individual.   A sense of separation  or individuality ‘appears’ due to resistance to ‘what is’. There is no individual entity operating any body. Life is the operator, maintaining the ‘change’.
Some wise words from Dr. Gregory Tucker: Quote :Life mostly features us 'clinging to the fiction that we are having a difficult life,' to anchor the fiction that 'someone is actually having one' in the first place. 'Enduring a difficult life' works, to keep the fiction in place that 'reality is not only real, it is real because it is difficult.' Without suffering, what proof do you have that you are having a life?  It is ‘embarrassing’ when truth reveals that you are required to keep your ‘brand of suffering’ to keep life ‘difficult’ in order to make the ‘me sense’ feel ‘real’. It is even more ‘embarrassing’ when truth reveals  that ‘suffering works’ to prolong the fiction that a ‘difficult life is a real life’ Unquote.
Suffering seems to be a synonym for ‘me’. When there is joy, you don’t feel either time of any sense of being individual.  Time and ‘me sense’ is felt only in suffering. Feeling separate is a mark of suffering already. They both are one and the same. Suffering is seeking is separateness is ‘me sense’. You cant shake off the ‘me’ as there isn’t anyone there to either to shake it off, nor to be shaken off. To see creation as a movement or change is coming to terms with what is happening and is beginning to dismantle the ‘me-sense’ which suffering is. The end of suffering is end of ‘me’, as both mean the same.
There is a possibility that suffering opens the door to study the nature of mind, or the world of appearance which is called spiritual seeking and also becomes another game to keep the ‘me-sense’ going strong. Ultimately, by grace, it is possible to suddenly find the end of seeking as the end of the seeker which would mean ‘ die before you die’ and bring about quite a bit of peace, but now, to no-one, as you.
It is a fun game to try and get rid of the ‘me’. There is one ‘me’ trying get rid of a ‘me’ by being ‘me’ as always. Try it out, it might throw you off ‘Samsara’ or the chain of suffering. Good luck.
